Duo granted bail for receiving stolen car

Mahadeo Lall age 30 and Munesh Persaud age 27, were granted bail by Principle Magistrate, Judy Latchman in the Georgetown Magistrate Court 3 on Monday for allegedly receiving a stolen Allion motor car property of Anthony Pickett. The car was given to the men by Earland Angus.

The court heard that Pickette after he would have discovered his car was stolen, he took it to persaud to have body works done on it. He subsequently learnt that the car had been working taxi.

The men pleaded not guilty to the charge and was released on $200,000 bail each. They are expected to return to court on June 4th.
