The Guyana Police Force has reported that there was an 11.4% decrease in Fatal Accidents recorded at the end of April, 2018.
Serious, Minor and Damage Accidents have also been decreased by 13.3%, 44% and 25% respectively.
The force noted that speeding is the main causes of Fatal Accidents from January-April, 2018, with a total of 20. Driving under the influence of Alcohol was 3. Pedestrian Crossing in the path of approaching Vehicle 4, Inattentiveness 3 and Fail to Confirm to Sign 1. This brings the total to 31.
