“Tear Drop” freed of robbery charge

Leon Clarke, aka, “Tear Drop” had his robbery charge dropped against him on Tuesday by City Magistrate, Faith Mc Gusty.

Clarke was accused and charged of robbing Vincent Howard of approximately $1,285,000 in cash and other valuables. Tear Drop was allegedly recognized by the man’s daughter who was at home at the time of the robbery. However, his lawyer managed to make a no-case submission, citing lack of evidence by the police.

Clarke became somewhat of a local celebrity after videos of him singing, surfaced on Facebook.
